Mr. McGarvey, of counsel, adds many years of experience to TraskBritt's thriving litigation group.  Prior to joining TraskBritt, Mr. McGarvey was a shareholder at Berman & Savage where he managed intellectual property litigations involving exercise equipment and cushion devices in the fields of mechanical engineering and chemistry, as well as other complex business litigations pertaining to government contracts, major construction projects, breach of licenses and non-compete agreements, antitrust, business fraud, products liability, defense of personal injury and wrongful death claims and mass torts.

Mr. McGarvey has managed hundreds of cases and tried many cases to verdict, including as first chair of breach of contract, including breach of a license agreement, real property damage, personal injury, and Federal Employers' Liability Act matters.

Mr. McGarvey has been recognized by Mountain States Super Lawyers as among the top five percent of lawyers in the state, listed among the "Utah Legal Elite" by Utah Business Magazine and received an "AV" rating from Martindale Hubbell’s highest peer-review attorney rating.
