James C. Watson


Mr. Watson is a Shareholder with TraskBritt, P.C., and his practice focuses on patent application preparation and prosecution domestically and throughout the world. His areas of expertise include mechanical, electromechanical, electrical, and software technologies. He also has significant experience in post-grant proceedings, litigation, licensing, trademark registration and enforcement, and opinion work. Mr. Watson is a frequent contributor to the firm’s intellectual property law blog, focusing his analysis on recent developments in the area of subject-matter eligibility. He is currently serving as the Section Secretary for the Utah State Bar Intellectual Property Section.
